Recently, the inauguration meeting for the Autonomous ICD Section XIII-China and 2009 Awarding Ceremony for New Academicians took place in Chengdu. Professor Zeng Rongsheng, vice President of Guanghua School of Stomatology, SYSU, was elected fellow of International College of Dentists. Manfred Seidemann, Chairman of International College of Dentists, and Professor Zhou Xuedong, Chairman of the Autonomous ICD Section- China, presented the“Gold Key” and academician’s certification to Professor Zeng Rongsheng.

Professor Zeng Rongsheng has made great achievements in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Under the recommendation of Chinese Stomatology Association and the appraisal of ICD International Council Meeting, Professor Zeng Rongsheng was finally elected fellow of International College of Dentists. Before this, 3 professors from Guanghua School of Stomatology had been elected FICD. They are Professor Huang Hongzhang, Professor Ling Junqi and Professor Zhang Zhiguang respectively.
