According to the contents of [2011]No.8 of Academic Degrees Committee under the State Council, with the approval of the 28th meeting of Academic Degrees Committee under the State Council, thirteen doctorate authorization first-level discipline and twelve Master's degree authorization first-level discipline of our university were authorized after the 2010 audit.

The 2010 newly-increased audited doctorate authorization first-level discipline of our university includes: Applied Economics, Law, Political Science, Ethnology, Foreign Languages and Literature, Atmospheric Science, Marine Science, Geology, Mechanics, Materials Science and Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Oral Medicine.

The 2010 newly-increased audited Master's degree authorization first-level discipline includes: Political Science, Ethnology, Education, Psychology, Journalism and Communication, Marine Science, Geology, Materials Science and Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Nuclear Science.
