Guangzhou, November 17: (Southern Metropolis Daily): Yesterday evening, the album of SYSU campus original songs “Fly Your Dream” was released officially, making it SYSU’s third album of campus original songs after “Towards the Sea” and “Ballad of Graduation”.

Produced and released jointly by SYSU Youth League Committee and China Record Co. Guangzhou, the album covers a total of 16 songs of ballad genre including “Fly Your Dream”, “Red Bricks Green Tile” and “Phoenix Flowers Bloom”. Famous musician Wang Houming, who is also the producer of this album, wrote the song “Together, we will make it more splendid” specially for Guangzhou Asian Games volunteers.

It is reported that the previous two albums of SYSU campus original songs, “Towards the Sea” and “Ballad of Graduation”, were released in 1986 and 2000 respectively. “Towards the Sea” was the first cassette album of campus songs in mainland China which was composed, written and sung by university students. And “Ballad of Graduation” is the first CD album of university campus original songs in the mainland.
