In the afternoon of May 6th, the Summarizing and Commending Meeting of the Asian Games and the Asian Para Games was held by the CCCPC (Central Committee of the Communist Party of China) and the State Council in Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (Guangzhou). Liu Yandong, member of the Political Bureau of Central Committee of CPC and the State Councilor, was present and delivered a speech. Wangyang, member of the Political Bureau of Central Committee of CPC and Secretary of Guangdong Province hosted the meeting. Guo Boxiong, member of the Political Bureau of Central Committee of CPC and the Vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission, Sang Guowei, the Vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, and Luo Fuhe, the Vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference also attended the meeting. At the meeting, Liu Yandong and other leaders presented the prizes to the representatives of the commended advanced collectives and individuals. Among the 233 commended advanced collectives at provincial and ministerial level, SYSU Venue Team and SYSU Youth Communist League Committee were awarded the title of Advanced Collectives at Provincial and Ministerial Level in the 16th Asian Games and Asian Para Games respectively.
