On July 9, the presentation ceremony for the PWC Jonten Certified Public Accountants (south district) Scholarship took place. Eight students in accounting from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Xiamen University as well as Zhongnan University of Economics and Law entered the finals. Wu Jiamin, a 08 student from the School of Business of SYSU, won the first prize, awarded with a scholarship of 20,000 RMB as well as an internship in abroad. In addition, Huang Peilong and Tao Pangxin, another two students from SYSU, got the Excellent Awards.

According to the organizer, the PWC Accounting Outstanding Scholarship aims to award students who have enthusiasm, persistence and potentiasl in accounting. It strives to award and develop outstanding students in accounting in China mainland as well as in Hong Kong.
