Nanfang Daily News Sun Yat-sen University Boxue MBA Students Association recently held a charity annual meeting on the theme of “Keep a True Heart and Give Back with Love” in Guangzhou. The reporter learned from the meeting that the association launched a series of public benefit activities last year to “send books to rural children”, and have donated “Sun Yat-sen University Boxue Reading Rooms” to farm primary schools in poor areas across the country.

It is known that until now 13 primary schools in places including Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan and Jiangxi have become the first recipient schools of this public benefit activity and have successfully built their reading rooms.

Founded in 2006, the Boxue MBA Students Association of the School of Continuing Education operates directly under the Sun Yat-sen University Alumni Association as a unity of student association, alumni association and business association. Since its establishment, the association has held activities in various forms, such as business visits, academic seminars, sports events, poverty relief and student sponsorship programs.
