Recently, the “2013 Guangdong postdoctoral student trip to Donguan to provide scientific, technological and medical services” activity was held on schedule, which was the prologue to this year’s Guangdong postdocs’ activities to serve the people. Professor Gao Zhiliang from The Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and Professor Zeng Musheng from Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center gave lectures in Shilong Boai Hospital in Shilong town, Dongguan. Over 30 postdocs and PhD students from Sun Yat-sen University, Jinan University, Southern Medical University, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and other universities in the province participated in the free diagnosis and exchange activities.

In the next step, the Guangdong Human Resources and Social Security Department will give special support to the east, west and north part of Guangdong. A series of activities such as the trip to Qingyuan and Chaozhou will also be organized to serve the local people and promote local development.
