The selection interview for 2014 JAL Scholarship Program was held on March 26. Feng Situ, a sophomore from the Department of Japanese of School of Foreign Languages, participated in the interview on behalf of Sun Yat-sen University. He stood out in the interview, winning the only ticket in south China region to the program to be held in Japan from July 2 to July 22 later this year.

The interview was organized by Japan Airlines with the support of Consulate-General of Japan in Guangzhou. The candidates were students from universities in south China region with excellent language proficiency and comprehensive ability. Feng Situ displayed his confidence and demeanor in the interview and was rated No.1 by the judge panel. He will participate in the program with university students from the Asia-Pacific region.
