Vice President of UK Durham University Prof. Andrew Deeks Visited Our University

On the morning of Mar. 26th, Prof. Andrew Deeks, the Vice President of UK Durham University, visited our university. Wei Minghai, the Vice President of SYSU, met Vice President Deeks, along with Wang Fan, Deputy Dean of Business School, Prof. Meng Yuezhong from School of Physics and Engineering, and Xu Yao, Deputy Director of Office of International Cooperation & Exchange.
Vice President Wei expressed his sincere welcome to Vice President Deeks and introduced SYSU’s major international cooperation programs and cooperative strategies to him. He also expressed his hope to explore the optimum cooperation mode between Durham University and other UK universities on the base of our university’s rich experience in international cooperation. Prof. Deeks stated that he hoped, through this visit, to raise the possibility of expanding the cooperation between the two universities, especially in physics and engineering.
