From February 28 to March 1, a delegation of FINUCI (Consortium français de formation d’ingénieurs en nucléaire civil) visited SYSU and were warmly welcomed by Vice-president Wei Minghai. Delegates included Bertrand Mercier, Professor of CEA-INSTN and Director of Engineer-level Training of SFINET, Abdallah Lyoussi, senior expert on Nuclear Equipment R&D of CEA, Jean-Philippe Nabot, Deputy director of Nuclear Energy Training Program of CEA, Daniel Caruge, Director of Simulation Program and Director of CEA’s Headquarter of Innovation and Support, Adrien Bidaud from Laboratory of Subatomic Physics and Cosmology of National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble, and Christophe Varé, Director of Material and Mechanical Component Division of EDF-R&D.

The delegation was accompanied by David Bassir, Commissioner for Science and Technology of Consulate-General of France in Guangzhou and Pierre-Yves Cordier, Counselor of Nuclear Industry Division at the French Embassy in China.
