On the morning of February 20, Deputy Inspector Liu Chunjie and his delegation from the Academician Work Bureau of Chinese Academy of Sciences came to our university to visit Xu Ningsheng and Ji Liangnian, two academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences.Deputy Inspector Liu Chunjie expressed kind regards from President Bai Chunli and Vice-president Li Jinghai of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and carried out an in-depth discussion with the two academicians on several subjects, such as strengthening academic morality, enhancing talents training and ,recommedation improving academician selection system, and implementing the "Innovation 2020” and “One Three Five” development projects of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

On behalf of SYSU, President Xu Ningsheng showed gratitude to the academy leaders’ concern, and introduced the basic information of SYSU academicians, as well as our university’s development and talents’ work in recent years. He stated that as the academic center in South China, SYSU would continue to actively promote its talents team development, building it as a talent highland. Academician Ji Liangnian introduced his scientific research work, and also made suggestions on academic morality.

Vice-president Chen Guanghao of Guangzhou Branch, Chinese Academy of Sciences, staff from the General Office, Division of Science Culture and Guangzhou Academician Liaison Office of the Academician Work Bureau of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Personnel Department of our university, accompanied the leaders during the visit.
