Chen Yongsheng, Professor of the School of Information Management and Executive Director of the Institute of Information Security and Electronic Documents Research, has been employed, since the beginning of 2009, as the consultant on the archival informatization of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee General Office. He has also directed the project of “Developing Electronic Documents Management System for the Party and Government Intranet”. After more than a year’s painstaking endeavor and united research, the R&D team led by Prof. Chen accomplished the development of this project, which has been deployed in all offices under Guangdong Provincial Party Committee General Office since February, 2010. So far, this project and the project of “Developing Electronic Documents Management System for the Party and Government Intranet” of Jiangmen Municipal Party Committee Office have both passed the inspection of experts.
