A group of experts from Cancer Institute and Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS), came to Sun Yat-Sen University Cancer Center for a visit and exchange on April 8th. The leaders of Cancer Center and directors of relevant departments took part in the receiving work.

Cancer Institute and Hospital, CAMS, is the first specialized cancer hospital established after the founding of new China. It is also the first research center for cancer prevention and treatment in Asia in terms of scale, one of the WHO collaborative centers for Cancer Research and one of the bases for national drug clinical trial of State Drug Administration. This institute and hospital provides cancer treatment, has its own scientific research and teaching, providing a comprehensive prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancers. This exchange is positive to strength the friendship between brother hospitals, promoting the cooperation and common advancement in the future.
