Professor Luo Jun is vice president of China Association of Higher Education, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, an expert in gravitation physics. His research focuses on gravitational physics and precision gravimetry. He carried out precision measurement of gravitational constant G, experimental test of' Newton's inverse square law, tests of weak equivalence principle and other static gravity experiments. He also serves as chief` scientist of the project of precision gravity measurement for national major technological infrastructure, and of “Tian Qin” Project, China's independent gravitational wave detection program.
